On portfolios for the TDP in the NDA government at the Centre, TDP MP Kesineni Sivanath said, “We are not demanding any number of cabinet berths or portfolios. Our demands are related to the problems faced by the state, such as getting more funds from the central government, improving the financial condition of the state, bringing industries to the state and getting capital for the state. We have given our full support to the Prime Minister.”
On the Muslim reservation in Andhra Pradesh, he said, “The high commands of both parties will sit together and will sort out something which is beneficial for the people mainly Muslims. So there is no issue regarding that.”
