Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum have fallen apart a year after their marriage.
The Dubai princess accused her husband of infidelity and being ‘busy with his other companions’.
The couple had gotten married in 2023, joining their respective royal families. Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the vice-president and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The couple announced via the Arabian Royal Agency in March last year that they will be getting engaged.
The momentous occasion was marked by Sheikha Mahra’s father-in-law, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum, penning a poem to celebrate the union.
The couple had a dream wedding and Sheikha Mahras shared pictures of her father and her then-fiancé at their Katb Al-Kitab, captioning it with a heart emoji.
The lavish wedding reception was held in Dubai in June. Their pictures, where Sheikha Mahra, was seen donning a white embroidered ball gown designed by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture.

The couple were also seen engaging in fun activities together and shared photos of their date nights as well. They shared photos of them visiting the upscale restaurant Novikov Café in downtown Dubai.
They went on their honeymoon in the Greek islands of Mykonos. Her now-divorced husband also shared photos of their honeymoon, sharing photos with captions like “the happiest night of my life”.
The couple welcomed their first born in May this year and held a lavish gender reveal party in February.
Throughout these events it was not understandable to the general public and the couple’s fans that there was trouble brewing within.
The couple were also seen together when their daughter was born in the hospital with Sheikh Mana pictured beside Sheikha Mahra.
However, this week Sheikha Mahra informed the world via an Instagram post that she is divorcing her husband alleging infidelity on his part.

“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife,” Sheikha Mahra wrote in an Instagram post.
