Two Passengers Fight Over Seat On Long-haul Flight, Video Goes Viral | Watch

A scuffle erupted between two male passengers on a long-haul flight from Taiwan to California when one passenger took another’s seat.

The chaotic video footage from Taiwanese carrier Eva Air has since gone viral on social media platforms.

The altercation began when one passenger opted to switch seats after the person beside him started coughing, inadvertently occupying another passenger’s seat.

Upon the return of the original occupant, a physical altercation ensued as he attempted to confront the seat poacher. Despite the intervention of three flight attendants, the situation escalated, with one attendant being elbowed in the head as they attempted to separate the men.

After the initial scuffle appeared to subside, the passenger who took the seat approached the other individual again, leading to another altercation in which blows were exchanged in the aisle. Passengers can be heard screaming as the confrontation unfolds, with several stepping in to assist the crew in separating the two men.

The dramatic incident took place on May 7, just three hours after EVA Air’s flight departed from Taipei for San Francisco, as reported by the New York Post.

Following the incident, both individuals were detained by San Francisco police upon arrival.
